this is a short video about the archeological excavation at vlasac, danube gorges. the recovered skeleton dates back to the late mesolithic period (about the 7th millennium b.c.). the mandible bone is missing from the skeleton, and the reasons for its extraction from the grave are suspected to have a ritualistic purpose.
